A Restful Bachelor Pad

Situated in the Mid-Levels, this apartment has undergone a transition from a 3-bedroom family home to a modern bachelor pad infused with a Mid-Century flair.  Our objective was to craft a space that perfectly complements the lifestyle of the modern dweller, while minimizing extensive modifications to the original layout. Consequently, we opted for a single alteration, removing a wall to seamlessly merge the two bedrooms into a relaxing en-suite accompanied by a spacious walk-in closet.  

Embracing a minimalist approach, we carefully curated a material palette that exudes warm tones, fostering an inviting and lively atmosphere throughout the apartment. Light Oak-timber flooring gracefully adorns the floors, while walls receive a tasteful touch of St. Leo texture paint, providing a backdrop of neutrality that effortlessly harmonizes with the overall design. To introduce depth and character, the combination of travertine and walnut wood furnishings are thoughtfully incorporated to complement different artworks, infusing the space with a sense of playfulness. Furthermore, olive green and cream Quivas marble elegantly lines the walls of the bathrooms, adding a touch of sophistication and visual interest. The interplay of rich textures and inviting warmth plays a pivotal role in creating a soothing cocoon, where one can unwind and find solace amidst the demands of the modern world.
